Thanks to maintainers working on projects like pump, you can use Tidelift to give your teams access to a continuously curated stream of validated data about vetted components they need to make intelligent decisions, faster.
You can feel confident bringing pump into your application’s dependency tree because the maintainers of pump are paid by Tidelift to ensure their open source projects follow standardized secure software development practices.
pump is a small node module that pipes streams together and destroys all of them if one of them closes. When using standard source.pipe(dest) source will not be destroyed if dest emits close or an error. You are also not able to provide a callback to tell when then pipe has finished. pump does these two things for you.
pump is available via the npm package manager.
